Claims Handling Process

When the critical phase is over Alandia’s claims handler works in close co-operation with the insured in deciding the strategy for the repairs. You will be assigned a contact, in the relevant claims handling team, who will assist you from the beginning to the end in handling your claims.

After the repairs have been completed and all the relevant documents including invoices have been submitted to Alandia, the claim is handed over to our adjusting department. After our claims handlers have drawn a preliminary adjustment and it has been approved by you and/or the broker, we will without further delay pay our share of the claim and instruct the broker to collect followers’ shares.


Whether an incident has occurred or if you just have an issue that may develop into a liability claim our claims team offers hands-on assistance. Regardless of whether the matter concerns your crew or passengers, your cargo or if the environment is at risk for pollution, or when wreck removal is required, we are here to assist you.
