Risto Räty leaves – Mathias Brunnsberg appointed Director, Commercial Marine for Alandia

Alandia and Risto Räty have mutually agreed to terminate Räty’s employment with Alandia.

I would like to thank Risto Räty for his efforts during his more than a year at Alandia. Risto has excelled as a communicative leader with good collaboration skills. I wish him the best of luck with future new challenges.

Mathias Brunnsberg has been appointed Director, Commercial Marine and has assumed the new role on August 17, 2023. In this role, he will lead and drive Marine and Cargo insurance towards the strategic goals to provide swift and relevant service and marine insurance solutions that provide long-term security, reduce risk, limit suffering and resource utilisation.

During his fifteen years at Alandia, most recently as CFO, Brunnsberg has established a broad knowledge of Alandia and the insurance business.

With these changes, the CFO role will be handled by the CEO and Brunnsberg will continue to function as the CEO’s deputy.
