JWLA-028 Black Sea and Sea of Azov
The Joint War Committee (JWC) has amended the Listed Areas and we hereby give notice of cancellation with effect from 16th February 2022 in order to revise the Areas of Perceived Enhanced Risk to come into line with the JWC ‘Listed Areas’ dated the 15th February 2022, a copy of which is enclosed.
The following changes are incorporated in the new list as attached:
Ukrainian and Russian waters in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov
It is our intention to incorporate the new ‘Listed Areas’ into all of the war risk policies where we are Leading Underwriter and the insurances will be automatically reinstated upon expiry of the notice as per the Navigation Limitations for Hull War, Strikes, Terrorism and Related Perils Endorsement (JW2005/001A) and the Hull War, Strikes, Terrorism and Related Perils Notice of Cancellation Administration Clause (JW2005/001B).
In line with the notice provision within JW2005/001A, the new listed areas will take effect on all war risk policies from 1st March, 2022.
