Jan Limnell leaves Alandia
Jan Limnell, Director, Commercial Marine Insurance of Alandia is leaving after serving for nearly 30 years. His last day at Alandia will be January 14, 2022.
Limnell started his career at Statutory Accident Insurance, but was about 25 years ago given the responsibility to expand Alandia’s Hull and Machinery Insurance product outside the local domestic market, which then was the Åland Islands and a few accounts on the Finnish mainland. In addition he was given the responsibility for developing Alandia’s own P&I product. He has done this succesfully and with great efforts.
In the interim following Limnell’s departure, Tony Karlström, CEO for Alandia, will assume oversight on Alandia’s Commercial Marine Insurance Business Area.
Alandia expects to name a permanent replacement after receiving all regulatory approvals in the coming months.
